Bachelor of Arts (BA)

Bachelor of Arts or BA is an undergraduate program. Full form of BA is Bachlor of Arts and it comes under the discipline of humanities/arts. BA course duration is 3 years. BA course is divided equally into 6 semesters. One having 10+2 degree in any stream can take up this course. There are various BA specialisations available namely Philosophy, Literature, Anthropology, Psychology, Theology, Journalism, French, Sanskrit etc and many more.

BA Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for a BA course specify that:

Candidates should have completed their 10+2 from a recognised board.

Apart from this, some colleges also specify that aspirants should have secured a minimum of 50% aggregate marks at their Class 12 level in order to be eligible to pursue a BA course offered by them.

Some colleges also offer 5% marks relaxation in this criteria for SC/ ST candidates.
